Tempe, Ariz.

Rockford Fosgate, manufacturer of high performance car audio, announces the launch of the Power Component Series speakers at the 2004 CES (booth #814). The new 2004 Power Components, scheduled to ship in January 2004, boast the industry’s best performance, sound quality, and power handling at its price point.

"For most consumers, the bottom line is sound quality, and you can’t buy a better sounding or a more technologically advanced speaker in this price range," explains Ron Trout, Rockford Fosgate managing director. "The Power series components produce terrific sound quality while providing extreme power handling. High temperatures generated under extreme high power inputs are the number one cause of speaker failures. Power Series components utilize superior materials and state of the art design parameters to create a speaker capable of optimum sonic performance at extreme sound levels.

According to Jake Braaten, Rockford Fosgate Product Manager, "abundant use of cast aluminum and a two-inch midrange voice coil put these speakers into a class of their own. When customers demand power and performance, these two-way systems deliver!"
