Rockford Fosgate Gets Locked and LOADED in 2004
Tempe, Ariz. – Rockford Fosgate and Q-Logic, two of the most respected brands in the mobile audio marketplace, have teamed up to create the ultimate loaded enclosure. Rockford Fosgate is proud to announce that it’s acclaimed Punch woofer line now includes 12 pre loaded enclosures tuned by Q-Logic and will launch the new line at the 2004 CES (booth #814).

These vented enclosures utilize proprietary high-flow, low noise ports and are available in single and double woofer configurations with choices of power handling with applications. The Punch LOADED system moves more air than conventional ported or slot loaded enclosures, without the turbulence or noise of a typical "tube" or square type port. Conventional ports are formed with pieces of wood or cardboard leaving sharp edges and hard turns that create distortion and restrict smooth airflow. With the High-Flow Air System design of Punch LOADED enclosures, the bass engine delivers maximum bass (horsepower) Sound Pressure Level without turbulence, resistance, or noise. Think of it as an engine air management system for subwoofers. Capping off the Punch LOADED enclosure, are molded plastic end caps incorporating massive gold –plated binding posts.
